Pablo is a screenwriter originally from Tijuana, Mexico, now based in Los Angeles. From a young age, he became fascinated by the emotional switch that makes the people who love us most turn cruel in an instant, and that coexistence of Love and Dysfunction became his storytelling fuel.

Inspired by observation and shaped by personal experience, Pablo is drawn to characters at their worst and loves to watch them try to get better, exploring the messy, funny choices they make along the way.

He takes pride in his range and ability to bring his voice across genres: from a dramedy about the estranged daughter of a legendary film director returning home after a suicide attempt, to a queer creature horror set against the backdrop of Big Sur.

In 2025, Pablo was selected as an inaugural fellow of Prelude, an eight-month fellowship led by Abbi Jacobson and Mieka Tennant focused on developing emerging writers. During the program, I received personalized mentorship and participated in workshops with industry creatives and executives.

Fresh out of PRELUDE, he is eager for the next opportunity in his journey toward becoming a full-time screenwriter.
